Our girl Ivy is special in a number of ways – as the sole female tabby (of five), she was the last kitten we trapped. She has intimate knowledge of our duct work and lived for six weeks between a couple of floor joists. She has since realized her foolish fear of humans was unfounded. While she is still finding her domesticity, she will create a special bond with her new family. She is by far the tiniest of the cats that we have taken in – perhaps because of her gender, but also due to nutrition issues as a kitten. She is approximately nine months old, has had extensive exposure to kittens and cats and is quite sociable.
