Luwanda (Lulu)
Luwanda came to our rescue making a big noise, crying loudly from underneath a neighbour’s car in the Summer of 2021. She had to be coaxed out with sounds of kittens cooing and a dish of wet food, but out she finally came after a couple of hours.
Surely, she was a feral, as she shied away from us for months. The one thing that she was grateful for, however, was the company of other cats. Eventually, she found out that humans are okay, too, but she still has a healthy mistrust of people. In safe company, however, she’s an eager seeker of pets and sweet words.
Luwanda’s ma has insisted we shorten her name to Lulu, and she does live up to that name. She is playful, chatty, and has blossomed into a beautiful young lady. Her secret love? Boys!
Lu and her pal, Lindsey
Even after she was spayed, Lulu gravitated towards the company of other cats, especially the boys. She plays with all her adopted siblings, but loves to cuddle up with any boy who is laying around and sleeping. She gets into the most impossible places to snuggle, with acts of contortion that defy gravity. She has inadvertently rousted many a sleeping boy with her enthusiasm.
Lulu is a human social cat, but will be happiest with at least one other (preferably male) feline to interact with. She does not need to be adopted as part of a pair, but she will thrive in an environment with a boy to hang with. She is currently purring and waiting for your application to be approved!
