Champ
Champ showed up at our front door in mid-October, 2023. He was so friendly, that we posted him for the longest time, fully believing that he was just visiting and that he had a family. We are certain that he did, and unfortunately, he could not tell us. He was posted, but we started the important process to bringing him back to health. He had a troubling upper respiratory infection, and as the weeks passed, and the hopes of finding his family diminished, we put him through the entire process – he has been treated for all infections and has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Champ purrs like a racecar and is a lapcat who is so friendly that he is almost *too* friendly (is that possible?). He is great with humans, but seems to be an alpha male. As the last of the reproductive hormones loosen their grip on his reactive nature with other cats, we hope that he can be integrated with others, but is one of those rare instances where he may just find his best fit as a single cat.
